Winthrop Surgical Associates Welcomes Dr. Jun Levine

NYU Langone Long Island Surgical Associates is very pleased to welcome Dr. Jun Levine, a highly skilled and experienced bariatric and general surgeon, to our practice. Dr. Levine adds yet another layer of expertise to our practice and represents a key part of the continued growth in our multi-specialty surgical program.

Dr. Levine attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical School and practiced in New York City before moving to NYU Winthrop. Her compassion and noted bedside manner puts her patients at ease, while her surgical skill helps ensure the most effective and safe procedure for each and every one. Beyond bariatric surgical procedures such as gastric bypass and gastric sleeve, Dr. Levine also specializes in minimally invasive hernia repair, minimally invasive gallbladder removal and surgical treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Dr. Levine continues the NYU Langone Long Island Surgical Associates tradition of excellence providing safe and effective surgical options for patients of all kinds, including those with high surgical risk. She combines knowledge and expertise in open surgery, minimally invasive or laparoscopic surgery, and even robotic surgical techniques. She will also assist our program with the extensive research programs in which we participate.
